NORECS starts and participates in R&D projects, enabling us to develop and optimize new and existing products. The projects range from small “Skattefunn”-projects to EU-projects.

Development of advanced mobile gas mixers for controlled and versatile supply of gas mixtures in scientific experiments, including new methods for gas mixture humidification.

"Rapid market introduction of new membrane technology for clean energy applications: upgrading the ProboStat with ceramic proton conductors - MarketIn”

The primary objective of the project was to develop and demonstrate ProboStat-based membrane reactors incorporating proton conducting ceramic membranes developed by Protia, NTNU and SINTEF in NANOMAT FABPRO-project.
2015 Skattefunn

“Oxygen sensor integration”

The goal was to develop miniature high temperature oxygen sensor assembly that could be used in-situ with existing sample holder and to upgrade existing measurement software to include full functionality to support and operate the oxygen sensor assembly. Further, the goal was to develop control loop functionality to the measurement and automation software so that it could regulate the test atmosphere based on the oxygen partial pressure readings.

“A novel gas mixer that allows precise user control in dynamically generating any dilution ratio of input gases – MAXMIX”

Primary objective of the project is to build a pre-commercial prototype of MAXMIX universal gas mixer with large dynamic range of dilution, automatic operation based on interface software.
