Can I apply oil to the threads of the enclosing tube flange/support tube socket to make them run easier?
Yes, most lubricant oils will do. Use only very small amounts to avoid spillage. We suggest to use a temperature resistant and not too thin oil if possible. A rotary vacuum pump oil is fine, for example. |
